This is text compare utility.
[Function description] The contents of two files that are dragged and dropped are compared line by line, and the positions of the same line and different lines are displayed in different colors. Drop launch to application icon or Dock icon is also possible. Although there is no save function for each file, it is possible to edit it as text, so you can use it to select all after editing and paste it into another editor and save it.
[Notice] Since the search engine is not self-made, the author of the sample version (Thomas Tempelmann) gave permission to open it.
[Problems at the moment] In a strict sense, differences cannot be extracted correctly. If there are many similar strings, the result depends on how to select the same part, so it is not uniquely determined. However, it is generally useful when looking for changes from the original document at a general practical level.
[New function] Add all delete button. Supports rich text (with/without image) file drop. Select the row of the difference of interest. Focused difference number display. Change the focus position by clicking the difference area. Display the total number of differences. Restore the text encoding change function.
[Caution] Since rich text with images basically compares characters, it does not recognize differences in images and selects only different parts of the characters. Also, in rich text that contains a large image, the part of interest may be off the screen due to the position jump. Try scrolling manually.
[Caution 2] In Ver.1.1.9 or later, it is not recommended to investigate huge rich text because the operation becomes very slow.
